In the mid-1990s, Mr. Arthur Wang set out to build what would become the world’s first folding mobility scooter for his wife, Juyu.
He didn’t care about launching a product. He didn’t care about chasing the latest gimmick. He set out to do things the right way. Using better materials, smarter design and no compromises.
That scooter blossomed into the iconic Luggie® family. That commitment and spirit became FreeRider®.

I love this scooter. I am plus size, 310 pounds, and it carries me just fine. I can get it in and out of the trunk myself, unfold and off I go! Battery lasts a long time. I rode it all over the zoo a whole day and still had charge in the battery. Steers easily and turns tight. Does fine on rough asphalt parking lots. Highly recommended!
